Emily is one of four children and has a twin brother, Henry, who is also a Nasio beneficiary. Their parents separated when they were younger and the children remain with their mother. Subsequently, their mother remarried and her children are settled into their new home. However, due to the low income of Emily’s household, they are often in need of food parcels and clothes.
Emily is currently in grade 3 at in primary school and aspires to be a doctor when she grows up. Outside of the classroom, Emily likes playing with skipping ropes with her friends. Emily needs sponsorship to complete her education, otherwise she risks dropping out of school. Her family cannot afford essential school supplies such as uniform which create barriers to securing her future.

The moment you start to support one of our children at St Irene’s or Noah’s Ark we instantly work on building that bond between you and your sponsored child. We’ll send you a Welcome Pack the moment your sponsorship begins and you will receive three updates throughout the year from us about your child – a home visit report, birthday update and a handwritten letter/drawing from your sponsored child.
We allocate the different sponsorship amounts you generously pledge according to the type of support needed by the children in our care. Your donation will help towards the costs of education, food security, health, psychosocial support, income generating activities and so much more!
