Sarai is the eldest of three children and lives with her parents. Her family lives in poverty as her parents could not afford to finish their education and cannot find stable work.

They live in a two-roomed mud house with iron sheets. The home is in poor condition and the family cannot afford basic amenities like food and bedding. Sarai has been enrolled at school with Nasio but needs sponsorship to continue her education. Due to their low income, it is impossible for her parents to afford school fees, uniform and learning materials for her.

Sarai aspires to be a nurse in the future, a dream that reflects her caring nature and desire to support others.
