Thank you for your support. Your generosity can help to ensure this child receives the essential health care, education, and social support they need.
Andrew is the third born in a family of five children, four boys and one girl. His parents both have significant health challenges and despite this, both work hard in manual jobs because they need to provide for the family. The family has a low income making consistent access to food, school items, and other necessities a daily challenge.
Andrew is currently in grade eight at junior secondary school. While his overall academic performance is below average, the new curriculum in Kenya has positively impacted his learning by providing practical, hands-on experiences that match his interests and strengths. Andrew is interested in repairing items such as radios and other small electronics, and this may serve as a foundation for a future career in engineering or technical trades.
With full sponsorship and access to regular food and school supplies, Andrew has a chance to escape poverty and provide for himself and his family. Any support you can give would make such a difference to his life and future opportunities.
